What version are you using? What is the configuration (gateways, etc.)? What steps are you going through to try and open it? What it happening/what error messages are you getting?
Need more info. - R. |

It's maximser 8, basically nothing happens!
On computer 2 I go through to open address book and the address book is not there to open. I have tried locating it through the browser but then it just hangs theer (no error message). I have an inkling that there could be a problem with the set up, ie I have (tried to?) set up the permissions on computer 1 but I am not sure how it tell computer 2 it's name so that computer 1 knows taht's the correct one to share the address book with. errr - does that make any sense? |

Kind of. Tells me enough to know you need to work with someone to make sure the networking stuff underneath is set up correctly. That, unfortunately, is beyond me.
Can anyone else help her get that far? - R. |

Ref only if XP
ive managed to get it networked. So long as both Pcs are sharing files. open a new address book and set the path to the networked folder which contains the address book. Try moving the address book out of application folder as my 2nd PC could access application data/maximizer. |
