Is there a setting to turn Automatically Maximizer Live Update "ON" or "OFF"? Or do you just have to Manuall select it under the HELP Tab...

Maximizer Live Update will automatically check your configured live update server for new approved updates each day. If this server is one that has been setup on your network then the administrator must go and approve the updates you wish to install.

If you do not have a live update server then the system will pick up the updates as they become available on the Maximizer Web Server.

There is usually a slight delay between an update being posted on http://www.maximizer.com and it appearing on the Live Update Server.

So how does one disable or turn off Live Update? I am several times a day having a box pop up asking me to accept a live update. I do not need the live updates.
How can this function be turned off?

There is no facility to turn off Live Updates in Maximizer. When the live update alert pops up it is telling you that your machine is not running the latest service release or hotfix level available for its version.

I would recommend that you allow Maximizer to install the waiting updates as they often contain bug fixes and functionality updates.

Once you have updated to the latest version you will not be asked to update again until a new release becomes available.

I have been using Maximizer for 9 years and all has been fine and now the Live Update box comes up. I WANT TO DISABLE IT. There must be a way. I must have engaged it at some point recently as it has never popped up before in the last 9 years until 4 months ago.

Help me disable it. I do not want the live updates.

As was mentioned in the previous post, as far as we are aware there is no facility to disable Maximizers Live Update program.
