Hi,
We'd like to eliminate the tasks from the hotlist after they have been checked as "complete." Right now, the tasks continue to show up until the next day. We each have over 100 hotlist tasks (follow up calls, etc.) per day, so it's helpful to eliminate a task from the list as soon as it's complete. Thanks! AMS |

According to the on-line help, "For example, Refresh removes tasks marked as complete from previous dates." (that's View > Refresh). I have the same issue you do and have spent time experimenting, but no success. Combine that with the text in the manual (the "previous dates" caveat) and it seems "you can't get there from here". Any alternate views/methods are welcome.
Personally, I would consider this, if not a bug, then certainly a less-than-optimal business process. - R. |

Oh, as a workaround, I have created a Priority Code of "Z". When I complete a task I flag it Complete and also change it to Priority = Z. If you sort the tasks by Priority order the "Z"'s sink to the bottom of the list. Not clean but it is functional.
