We have a real estate agent data base set up with many different companies. Each company has multpile contacts. Needless to say, real estate agents do not always stay at the same company and we need to move them from one co. to another. According to the help files, drag and drop should work but there are several problems that I can not get around.

Does anyone know an easy way to move contacts to different companies? I am using the outlook window interface in Maximizer 7 where the companies are on the left and the contacts in the selected company are in the right window. I have more companies than will fit in the window so there is a scroll bar present. If the company you are moving the contact to is currently out of the view(having to scroll to see it) I can not get the window to scroll while I have the contact to move the contact to.

This is hard to explain in type so I hope someone understands it.

Would be a great help and time saver to be able to move contacts quickly and easily.

Select the companies involved or as many will fit in the window then select "Edit/Make selected list current" With the companies in the same window you should have no problem dragging and dropping the contact into the addressbook window and then moving the entry into the company

Thanks. That does work and it is much easier than deleting and adding back to the proper company. Seems to me that it could be a lot easier though if Maximizer would allow to simply right click on the contact and then select "move" and then choose the new company and paste to the new company or something like most typical MS applications allow.
