New user to Maximizer - waiting for CRM11 to be loaded but currently on CRM10. What is the fastest way to move a contact to a new company. Currenlty we go to "view" "all companies and individuals" - locate the person we want to move - select - click edit - select entry - then locate the company you want to move them to - select "edit" and "select entry" and then "edit and "combine selected entries" The issue is that seaching all companies and individuals takes a long time as the system is listing all the companies we have in our system - is there a way to only focus on the companies involved with the contact moving? Or a faster process?

You don't have to do all the "click/edit" moves. You just need to have the company that they are moving to and the name of that person in the "view" panel. Click their name and while holding down your mouse button you can drag their names over into the company you are reassigning them to. Max will ask you some questions about the move such as do you want to just associate the name with the company or combine it. There are times where you will want to just associate the name. Once you completed the "move" you will be asked if you want to delete the name from the previous company. If you do, all of the items that have been connected with that person and their original company will stay with that company and not migrate over to the new one.

Excellent... I had not tried that way myself yet and it works well. Very helpful advice.

Thank you,
