Having difficulties restoring to a new address book from a backup file. Restore actions instantly but no addresses or contacts etc transfer. Any one have some ideas how to correct?

Having the same problem but with Maximizer 10. Would appreciate any help available...

Even am also raising the flag for the same issue..And I think till now there is no solution founded to resolve this issue...

Please make sure that when you use Maximizer back up and restore in version 10 or above that the target disc is a local drive (eg c and not a USB drive or a drive on which you have compression or encryption enabled as this may cause the underlying SQL back-up to have difficulty working with your back-up file.

It seems that the backup and restore functionality doesn't work out of the box. Often to restore database changes need to be made in sql server management console to correctly restore and open the database. In my case it was irrelevant if the database was on a USB or the hard disk as they both didn't work.
I am glad to have it sorted out though, and a lot of staff here seem to like it.
