Currently using Maximizer Enterprise 2000 ver 5.5 on Windows NT 4.0 SP6a and we can successfully fax from Maximizer using FaxSR Print-to-Mail.
Unfortunately, in order to perform the correct routing of local/long distance calls, we need to be able to adjust the fax number dialing string. Within Maximizer's preferences you can add digits to the beginning or the end of the number, but it puts a SPACE before/after the digit added. We do not want a SPACE, because our faxing software routes 1214-xxx-xxxx differently than 1 214-xxx-xxxx. We can manually force Maximizer on any given record get the right string by typing 1214-xxx-xxxx in the specified contact record, but this goes against Maximizers ability to auto format the number when you type it in and does not look very elegant when printed out. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. |

You can change the phone formatting in Maximizer by adding or modifying a String value called Phone Mask to the following key in the Registry:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Maximizer Technologies\Maximizer\INTL For example, if I added a Phone Mask value to the above key and entered "###^###^####" in it, the phone numbers in Maximizer would auto format as: 604^601^8000. Note You must restart Maximizer before this formatting will take affect. |
