Hi all:

I am having issues importing leads that are currently in an xls format into the address book of Maximizer 10. I think I'm doing everything right, but after clicking the key to import the data, I see that "0 records" are imported. Can someone please describe the easiest way to import simple excel spreadsheet lists of company names, contact names, etc., into Maximizer? I have several such lists to import.

Thanks,
Keith

Can be a whole host of reasons for this but the simplest "Gotcha" that gets me every time is that the spreadsheet need to be closed first.

Try saving the spreadsheet as CSV, closing the files, then import them into a new address book, (with an identical field layout as the one you wish to import them into) and then when the look and feel of the new contacts are right, transfer them over to your active address book.

A little over engineered I know but this way it allows me to make mistakes without duffing up my active address book (and also allows me to do global edits on the data such as in the notes field before I transer them over)
