1. Sometimes a contact changes companies- how do I move the contact from one company to another?

2. Sometimes I want to relate the two companies, to show where the contact used to work, and sometimes I don't -how do I handle these two situations?

Regarding moving the Contact, see your other post for a response. Regarding tracking where they used to work, add some kind of prefix to the name. We use "old_" and use the wildcard to find both old and current entries.

So when I search by last name for *Smith, I will see that John Smith works at United Technologies, and old_John old_Smith used to work at IBM. We do this because you can preserve job titles, Notes, etc. from John's old position within the appropriate Company.
