Because of constant crashing (I have asked a question elsewhere on that point) we switched back to using outlook 2003 (via exchange server) for our emails but we do like filing the emails after sending them.
so you send then print (if needs be) in Outlook, then switch to Maximiser to file under the recipient's (or sender if its an incoming email) name. Problem is it doesn’t. First you have to go address book, find recipient, then back to email, back to sent items or inbox, then right click, file under highlighted address book entry. Is there any less convoluted way of doing this? |

Read the post that was started a few backs by CENTMAN on September 25, 2005 11:32 PM.
It explains about the emailinf and storing in Maximzer. |

I don't know about sending the emails directly from within Outlook, but if you send them from within Max, just make sure the Save Copy ... checkbox is checked and it will automatically file a copy in the Address Book entry's Documents.

Thanks for this, the centman thread really confirmed what I thought that the only reliable way to do this is address book then email then save then check it has saved!
(we tend to crash if we reply/send in maximiser which I accept would in many instances be a lot simpler) |

Hey guys..I can't find the CENTMAN post on the forum anymore. I have looked everywhere for this...I have "save copy" checked...but how does Maximizer keep track of INCOMING emails from those who are currently in my address list...works great for outgoing emails.
Thanks! |
