Are there scripts to automate repetitive tasks? For example, for some large clients they may have 100+ product line items. To update the maintenance date or product status for each would take 45 minutes to update if each line item has to be updated individually. Can we write a script to automate these tasks.

Option 1: Macros

Maximizer supports the recording and playback of keystroke macros. Look up 'macros' in Maximizer Help.


Option 2: Customizations

With the Customization Suite one can create scripts and applications that manipulate Maximizer information using various data access methods. Contact your Maximizer Business Partner for details on how they might

- build such an application for you, or

- arrange for you to purchase a Customization Suite license so you can build your own.
