I use a lot of user defined fields. I have my default entry set to "New contact inherits user-defined fields," but at least some of my older companies don't have this set (and maybe it occasionally gets turned off in the new ones?).

Is there any way to periodically search for "new contact inherits NOT set?" I'm not seeing it under search/all fields.
