Moved to Max 9/10 from Goldmine 6.7. In Goldmine you could have lookup values for each field. Is this possible in Max 10? Have searched everywhere and find no mention of it. Some fields do come with lookup values available, but I see no way to edit. Other fields like user defined fields I see no way to set up possible entries/lookups.

Well... after reading what seemed like hundreds of pages of the Max 10 Manual, I found the answer, myself. Max doesn't call them lookups. They call them lists. After creating KEY fields you can create LISTS for the KEY fields. Then you can assign lists to the key fields as you wish. These guys at Max Software have created a powerful monster of a program. By the time you learn each iteration it's time to step up to the next iteration.

If anyone else is interested: The "list" fields appear to not let you establish qualifiers like "alphnumeric", "numbers", etc. If you pick list you give up the right to the more qualified conditions for the field.

In GoldMine, F2 & Spacebar are the keys for local access, in Maximizer, INSERT is the key you will use most often for these options.
