Hi there,

My first post here. Thanks for a great forum.

Our company uses Maximizer and I've been able to get my contacts in Max to sync to Outlook 2003 (into the "Maximizer Contacts" folder).

My problem is that the sync seems only to work one way. If I make any changes to the imported contacts in Outlook and sync back to Max they always get overwritten. I saw a PDF somewhere on Maximizer's website where it is stated that the synchronization feature is supposed to work both ways. What gives?

Many thanks.
Arnie

If you do not have much to do try to transfert them with Vcard to maximizer. There is a procedure with in maxtalk.com

Running maximizer 9 since February 17, 2006, with QB link.

Yeah, thanks, I saw your post about using VCARDS. Unfortunately I've got more than a thousand contacts and it will take forever to do it that way!

Anything else that I can try?

Maximizer Enterprise 9 and Maximizer 9 support two-way synchronization of contacts with Outlook.

Thanks, Gord.

That means that I'll have to fork out more hard-earned dollars, though....

Export/Import might work if you're using a single user version and are disciplined. Doesn't work if you're in a multi-user, shared database environment. That's where a true synch capability is required.

Another way (still a slow one) is to sync outlook with QB. Then from QB to Max.

Running maximizer 9 since February 17, 2006, with QB link.
