Hi All,
I have been using Max since 1995 and have not been able to configure a custom template for e-mail creation either with the internal e-mail creation window in either text or html mode or using linked outlook. I have looked at the campaign manager for this however i suspect this is not the solution either. My question is, is it possible to create a custom html e-mail template to use as the default e-mail window either using the imbedded max editor or alternatively in Outlook? Seems that even if one creates a default template in outlook, Max outlook plugin over-rides these to blank then drags in signature file only. Thanks in advance for any suggestions. Also, if anyone is aware of any 3-rd party solutions that have this, it would be of interest. Deano |

Deano,
You cannot create a custom template for an e-mail I'm afraid. The best way to send out a templated e-mail to any of your customers is to use the Maximizer Editor. If you open the editor and create the e-mail (including any merge fields you may want to use) and then save it as a Template, you will then be able to open that template at any time and by clicking File>>Merge>>To EMail send an e-mail to the currently selected contact(s). |
