I'm unable to set up Maximizer 6 and Outlook Express to cooperate. Can't find a way to receive e-mail in Maximizer. When I send a message, it appears in the Outlook Express Outbox and gets sent when I open Outlook Express. Get error message "Your SMTP Server has not responded..." which keeps coming back. Is there a source of understandable guidance? Thanks.

Make sure that Outlook Express is set as your default Internet e-mail client. An easy way to do this is in Explorer File/Tools/Internet Options/Programs Select Outlook Express as your e-mail client. In Maximizer File/Preferences/E-mail/ Select overide extended MAPI click the Advanced Tab and select Other e-mail system
You will definately need to close the e-mail window in Maximizer and may need to re-boot before it sticks but that should do it. Les... |
