What new features, if any, have been added to Maximize 6.0 to allow for filing of documents? How about improvements to MaxDoc in this area?

Hi Mike,

There no specific Scanning support in Max 6, but its very easy with Max Doc. Max Doc supports simple scanning of document or images with preset, or your scanners manually configured, settings.

The only limitation at present is that multi-page documents (which are supported) do not at present support use of an ADF (due to lack of real demand!) This will be in a future release.

At this time, we utilize a software called Papermaster (by Documagix)to scan and file all of our paper documents (including faxes and incoming mail). The system looks very much like a paper filing system using cabinets and file folders, etc. We are able to fax and email from this application. Generally the system works fairly well except for two problems: 1) We must maintain two separate filing systems (with outgoing documents retained in Maximizer) and 2)Documagix has gone out-of-business.

We would like to be able to utilize Maximizer to handle ALL of our documents. And yes, our scanner does utilize ADF due to the fairly large volume of scanning that is necessary.

Any suggestions?
