Back in version 5, we could print the maximizer address book contacts in the format used by Daytimer, Datrunner, Franklin Organizer, and so on. I just converted all my databases to version 7 and now I find I can't do that. Or can I? Am I not looking in the right place or have we lost a feature?

Open the Calendar Window, right mouse click to bring up context sensitive menu, select print Calendar Book.

Les: thanks for the reply. I'm using version 7, and the only item that can be printed from a calendar page right click menu is "Print Appointments"

PillPopper: Thanks to you too, but my version does not have that option. In Address book, File>Print> gives Merge Docs; Envelopes; Labels; Column Report; Detailed Report; Name/Address report; Note Report; and Custom report.

Have I got a bad install where some features are missing? Or are you both using a different version than 7.0?

Sounds like it. Where you have "Custom Report" we have "Personal Organizer". I could be that if the ReportSmith component is installed it replaces the "Personal Organizer" menu entry with its own. Perhaps they thought that if somebody was going to be a ReportSmith jockey they would roll their own organizer lists. Or maybe it's simply a bug in the installer... Confused

In any case, try completely removing Maximizer and then reinstall v7. Instructions here.

Attn Gord
Thanks I'll try that

I also had someone tell me that, if I deleted a couple of specific files in the version 7 data, I'd be able to open it in v.5

I'll try that this weekend.

Gord;
Your obsevation regarding "custom Report" versus "Personal Organizer" did the trick.

I uninstalled using the direction on the FAQ at miximizer.com and reinstalled without the report smith. VOILA! It's back to the way it was.

Thanks to all who replied.
