I am wondering if anyone knows how to delete list entries on the Category List (for categorizing companies) in Maximizer Enterprise 8?

For each company we assign one or more categories which are used for various purposes. Over the years, we have accumulated a number of useless categories on the list. But we can't seem to delete the entries. Does anyone know how to delete unwanted entries on the list?

You need to do it in Administrator.

It's at file/preferences/address book.

You can only delete values that you have added.

The system default values can be changed, but not deleted.

Thanks for the reply. There is no "address book" tab showing. Perhaps this is only available in Version 9.

I no longer have Max 8 running, so I can't tell you where it is in the menus, but it must be possible because I customized the "categories." It may be at the same place where you added them.

You might want to search the PDF version of the documentation for "categories."

Also, maybe your user account doesn't have have the necessary privileges. Try (or have the administrator try) as "MASTER."
