Hello,
I've just changed back from Goldmine 6 to Max 8 and now I need a new Palm PDA to replace my old Ipaq.

Syncing with a PDA is imperative for me.

Does anyone know if the new Tungsten T5 will sync with MaxLink?
The Max website only show synchronisation with T3's which have been discontunued.

Any thoughts please.

Thanks Iris,

Been there.
I'm wanting to know if anyone has a Tungsten T5 which is working with Maxlink even though its not listed on the website. It's only been out a month or two.

My supplier is attemting to find out from Maximizer if they are testing the T5 or not. So far I've had no response from him.

Peter,
I have Max 7 and a Palm T5, i have found that it's conduits seem to cause difficulty with my Palms ability to synchronize, i'm looking into it currently. I'm not sure if the conduits are better with Max 8, as i see there are asterisks associated with the T3, and it has older conduits than the 5.

Cheers Maexio,

I've just received the following quote from Max Australia.

quote "Support from Vancouver has said due to the T5’s recent release the OS 5.4 has not been tested however they are due to start shortly as the new generation of palm one devices use this operating system too."

Looks fairly promising. When my software arrives I'll have the latest version of Maxlink and I think I'll try my luck with a T5. If it doesnt work and they have to update the software I'll use a third party app to link to my old ipaq in the interim.

Anyone know of third party software to link to Ipaqs or have comments on MaxPocket?

Cheers

Peter
