Is there a way that I can populate the search>Company> Edit List? We currently have like over 2000 entries but I want the search>company> and in the name field "Edit List" have all these 2000 records so if someone types for a company it prepopulates the name field. Is there an easy way to fill the edit list or does someone has to sit down and type the 2000 records! Pleease help..

Am using Max 7 and don't see a field named "Edit List". Do you mean "Range"?

If this is a feature in Max Enterprise any flavour or Max 8 I can't help - if you're using Max 7 or earlier let me know and provide a bit more description and I'll see what I can do.

I am using Max 8.0 but if you click on the text box where you can enter the company name to search it should give you a drop down with an item [Edit List...]

I know what your're saying. Just looking at my copy quickly, there isn't a way to get those 2000 companies to auto-populate that drop-down.

There is a bit of an alternative, though. Just do a search to retrieve all 2000 companies into the main address book list. If you press a key on the keyboard, Maximizer will jump down to that letter. So, if you press "M", you'll jump down to the first company that begins with an M. If you then press "i", you'll jump to the first company that begins with "Mi" - So on and so forth.

Or you can let your users know that they don't need to type the entire company name in order to search. If they want 'Veribig Corporation' they can search for 'verib' and probably get just what they're looking for.
