I am a relative newbie to Max 9; here is my ?.
I plan to call several (30-40) of the prospects in my address book per day. I anticipate that 50% of them will want to receive my mail. How can I isolate/select those to whom I want to send mail (at the end of the day), and then send the contact info to my office to have them ship the mail. I understand that I can have the report in the .xls. form; can I get it in the .csv form as well? Thank you, JRC Jeffrey |

Jeffrey,
You can set a value into the 'Do Not Solicit By' field on a company/contact record. If someone doesn't want to receive your mail you can just set this to 'Email'. I would also suggest you create a User Defined Field called Last Contacted Date and fill this in as you talk to each person. Then at the end of the day you can do a search for all records with a last contacted date equal to today and a Do Not Solicit field not equal to 'Email'. Then you will get the correct list. |
