Would be great to have repports on phone call
- That where busy for selected customer
- % Of bussy phone call on a client
- Numbers of phone call made a day, a month...
- Number, % of phone call average to get a win opportunity.
- Numbers, % of phone call average that get a loose opportunity.

Tell me about it. ANy workarounds, or nobody out there does this kind of phone calling and activity/success tracking? ( I'm not talking about an expensive solution, but rather about actually using and exploiting the phone call and timer feature in Max- otherwise, what is it there for??

No developpement, except I suggest it to maximizer.
I am not sure yet how to use Crystal Report, and also what are his limits.
I great asset into maximizer would be to have a pannic boutton, when you press it, it create a email to be send to suggestion.

I think the trouble is that Max is stuck in a design mode of being great at a few complex things, good at a lot of important things, but really awkward at some must-have things. Having a timer and a phone call note feature, and then not having a two-click type way to report on it-( calls per hour, calls per week, attempted vs complete, etc ) is not very good for the product. Same with html mail. Why have an internal word processor, and then not let the user easily put in simple html code and fields to produce a simple and elegant html email template? Why crush everything down to plain text just because you want to mail it out? Sure, there are "workarounds" to attach a file, so on. But this is a modern CRM product! The world is practically run on html in terms of communication. Why make it so difficult? I'm trying hard to love this product.

Given this is a community focused on supporting Max, I woukd have to add a note that many sites block HTML email, or translate it back into raw text anyway just for security reasons. It's a problem I face as I steer us through business development. HTML is not the be-all and end-all, so an exclusively HTML-focused email solution may not be that desireable after all.

Balancing that out, many of the things you wish for I also wish for (EMail templates alone I would die for, just for internal admin!). Max defintely has gaps. But then, I worked with the Oracle CRM system for years and people spent hundreds of thousands of dollars on each implementation just for the software, and Max ran rings around it. Go figure.

Truth in advertising - I like the concept!

Now, can we extend that to every company in the world?
