I haveing problems putting a merge field in a text box in maxdoc 1.2. When designing the template it works okay, but when I perform the merge I only get the udf name in braces. Outside the text box everything works okay.


Maxdoc help says you can do this-
Merging in all parts of the document including text boxes and headers and footers.

Can I check which version of the software you are using? Is it the latest version, there have been some fixes to get Maxdoc to work with Office XP recently, resulting a new version. (still badged 1.2) but a service release.

Try downloading the new version and installing it, it is likely to resolve your problem.
