Time for an easy one: I like synchronizing appointments with Outlook (I can sync them to a palm via Chapura). But now I get two alarms (three counting the Palm) for everything, which is a bit of a nusiance. How can I make alarms only happen in one application or the other?

Having them go off in Outlook might be best due to the Palm sync.

just to clarify, I can make the buzzer not go off by setting the sound file to something instant/silent. But I'd like to not have duplicate popups if possible.

There is a tick box in Maximizer, if you click File>>Preferences and then go the Calendar/Hotlist tab there is tick box marked 'Ignore all Alarms and Notifications'. Ticking it will mean that while you can set alarms that will sync you will not be alerted to them within Maximizer.
