Hi. I hope someone may be able to help. I'm trying to create a column report that contains both the street address and the postal address for all the companies in the address book. I realise that I can see this information using the detailed report, however I am trying to take the data into excel, so the column report works alot better in this respect. Can you tell me whether this is possible? Is there another method that I can use to reach a similar goal? Thanks, Brett

>Is there another method that I can use >to reach a similar goal? You could conceivably build a custom Crystal Report to extract both addresses, then export the results from Crystal to Excel.

What have you tried so far? Tell me the steps and I'll see what I can do. What version Max? - Iris

Hi everyone and thanks for your replies. What I have tried so far is column reports, detailed reports, exporting to csv etc and importing into excel and even access. I haven't tried Crytal Reports. I really haven't had any exposure to them, so I wouldn't know where to start. Cheers, Brett PS. Maximizer ver. 8.0

Perhaps I'm misunderstanding your problem but I'll try and answer anyways. If your trying to format your coulm view as: 123 Anywhere Street 123456 Then just select the address and postal/zip code for the same column and choose a space as a seperator. If you want: 123 Anywhere Street 123456 Then select those same fields without a seperator. You can see what it will look like in the View Coulm table without closing column set-up until you get the result you want. Iris

Iris, What I'm actually looking to do is to export to an excel spreadsheet. The information I need in the spreadsheet is the company name, street address and postal address. At the moment, all I can get is either the street address or the postal address but not both. With alot of companies the postal address is different from the street address eg they might have a PO (post office) Box. Cheers, Brett
