I am using Max 7 and have been for a few years. Is there anyway to compress several notes into one - such as compressing all notes from 2005 into one note? I have looked in the help section and all I can find is how to purge notes which I do not want to do because that deletes some of the notes.

Why not take the notes you want to compress, save them as a RTF file (thru the print option) and then attach document to the contact?

The OP piqued my interest. I think the goal is to have the notes still associated with each contact. For those of us with large databases, we're talking about hundreds or thousands of summaries. Would your method automatically create a digest for each contact and save it back to the contact?

Personally, since the notes sort in reverse chronological order, I don't completely see a strong need to do this, but it would be kind of nice.
