thanks ozzy75 !! one last question mate umm.. i noticed something the other day in the office that no one was able to log in to maximizer from their computers until they had to lunch my computer (which most porbably ran as a server and gave them access to the address book, which is weird! does this tool which would switch the pervasive.sql to run as a service fix that as well? or i still have to configue anything else? thanks

The prvasive engine must be started on your computer to allow access to the others. This tool allows this.
