What do people think between these two platforms?

I'm looking for something that will integrate wity office and maintain client details from lead through to sale & then repeat business!

That's comparing apples to oranges. Maximizer is a complete CRM application, while FileMaker_Pro is a fairly simple general-purpose database management system.

With regard to FileMaker_Pro, did you have a particular contact management application in mind, or were you considering building your own?

(Hint: To create something in FileMaker_Pro that has even a fraction of Maximizer's functionality would be an enormous amount of work....)
