Crystal Reports - report problem

Hello,

I am using crystal reports v7 and am extracting data out of Maximizer to create a report that combines 2 fields CONTACT and COMPANY.

Extracting either of these two fields on their own causes no problems, but when I try to create a report that has both fields, I get many blank fields where data should be.

Does anyone know why I cant get both fileds on the same report without it blanking out data fields?

Mmm which table(s) are you using?

either your using the client table and have not taken account of the alternate addresses or your join of the company and contact tables may be at fault.

Please provide a bit more detail of the report.

We are trying to pull a report which details:

Company Name, Address, Tel No 1 & 2
All contacts within company, but not duplicate the address unless it has an alternative address. Plus two company user defined fields.

The other report is to also include opportunities and the user defined fields against the opportunity.

Thanks for your help.

Kind regards

To get the right addresses you need to include a jion to the ADDRESS table and your report will need some grouping in it.

If you are working without a Maximizer Integrators Toolkit you should consider purchasing one, as it explains how all of the tables are inter-related and what all of the table fields contain.
