Can I use your excellent Phone Changer 2, to change the London numbers? 0171 becomes 0207 0181 becomes 0208 etc. I would like to change them all en-masse Is that possible?

Following our PhONEday program that we released last time the STD codes changed, we are releasing 'The BIG Number' program this month.

The BIG Number program searches through the entire database updating the existing STD codes on the stiored phone numbers to the new ones.

Did you know that aswell as London, the STD codes for Cardiff, Southampton, Portsmouth, Coventry, and many areas of N. Ireland, are also changing and some local to local numbers are also going to be extended (e.g in London the change is not to (0207/8)xxxxxx but to (020) 7/8xxxxxx, therefore London to London is 7/8xxxxxx).

The ISDN international numbers are also changing from 000 to 00, and new Mobile and Pager numbers are also being introduced from the 30th of September.

All of these changes are covered by the 'The BIG Number' program available from CABC for £39.95 (exc VAT).

*Note* The new and existing numbers will work in tandem until April 22 2000.
