is there functionality built in to Max Document management, that allows for entry of keywords so the scanned documents can be searched on those keywords in the future?

Although you can scan documents into Maximizer with Max Doc there is not currently an option for adding keywords.

However you could place the necessary keywords in the document name. This would enable you to find a document by keyword within document titles using the Maximizer documents search (Search->Documents).
