Has anyone had a problem with installing ecbuilder
with Windows Vista? During install I get a message saying MDAC will be installed. MDAC never installs and ecbuilder will not install.

Hi there, I'm afraid it looks like you've run up against a compatibility problem. As far as we are aware the EC Builder program was never updated fully for Windows Vista and there is no guarantee that it will work with that Operating System.

The only thing I can suggest is that you try to turn off Windows Vista UAC (see below) and then run the installation again.

Yeah. The problem is with Windows Vista. Ecbuilder doesn't work well with it.
