THere is actually a document in the Max knowledge base that provides a detailed procedure for uninstalling Max 7. Should be similar for Max 9. There are definitely steps invilved in cleaning the registry as well as deleting files in some folders that the uninstall leaves behind. Check out the knoledge base at www.maximizer.com/support and search on "uninstall".
