Max Exchange 9, Network Transport, Connection issues?

XP Pro on server and laptop, Max 9 exchange on both.. worked great up until a catastrophic hard drive failure on the server last week. Restored the Max backups onto server, MaxExchange folder is shared..

The Server can write packets to the remote client no problems, but when I try and Process Packets on the client I get a "Network Connection Failed: \\servername\MaxExchange"

As its only a 1 person, 2 computer LAN, I even tried turning Simple File Sharing back on in windows to avoid username issues, but no luck.. suggestions?
