Annoying Beeping sound

Hi,

I have maximizer 12 group edition installed. I have checked everywhere in the maximizer and have even gone into preferences and shut off sounds for emails and notifications. YET every 30 seconds the system beeps. This happens on my server and on every work station.
How can I shut this off as it is annoying and I have no idea anymore where to look.

If these sounds are occurring regularly on your server then it may not be Maximizer that is the cause of the problem. Maximizer will normally only make a sound in response to an email arriving, a hotlist task alarm displaying or a search completing. Some of these sounds can not be turned off from the preferences.

The sound files that Maximizer plays are in the program files\Maximizer\madata6 folder as wav format sounds. If you are absolutely certain that it is Maximizer causing your frustration you could experiment with replacing these sounds with an alternative (silent wav file) recorded from the windows sound recorder. This is not a common request and I suggest you rename the originals so that you can replace them if you are not happy with the result.

I beg to differ. My Maximizer 12 has been beeping without any hot tasks. There is no email coming in.

This started a few months ago.
