Max 9 Ent 1618 Multiple Diary Entries

We are running Max 9 with 8 users. Twice now the diary has decided to duplicate diary entries for two users. So if I have a regular Friday appointment for the next six months, suddenly the diary shows my colleague Marc having the same appointment at the same time. This is creating chaos with the staff who don’t know who has what appointment! It is every appointment as well so client appointments duplicate backwards and forwards too.

My local (new_) guys don’t seem to know what the problem is, has anyone else had similar problems?
