I'm getting the following error message when I try and open a database. I get the same error message when I try to open a backup copy.

DataManager returned an error code of 2
An I/O error occurred on the 'Configuration' file. The file is probably damaged. Refer to your documentation for details on recovering damaged files.

Any ideas?

I have tried restoring a backup copy of my data with no luck. I cannot get into Administrator because it is automatically trying to open the database in question. I cannot access the "Cause of file corruption" page because it says I do not have access, and I am not an SQL programmer and feel a little lost when I go the the Pervasive knowledgebase. And I do not run PC Anywhere.
