Hi Gord,
I'm using 9.5 with SQL.

I just tried your example on my ME9.5 SQL box and it worked for me. It inserted the company the first time but not the second time.

How are you invoking the import? I was just double-clicking the .MXI file on my desktop.

I was also double-clicking the .MXI file. Can you please try following file on your box. This one also keeps on inserting records. I don't know what's going on, I ran out of options.

Hmmm. Yes, this one repeatedly inserts the company when you double-click the MXI file.

Try opening the address book and starting the import via

File > Import > Advanced Import...

and selecting the matching UDF name in there. That seems to work better.

Manual import is successful when done from File > Import > Advanced Import option.

Our goal is to automate this import operation through command line invocation of maximizer.

The same file used to work before. It's not working after we upgraded from 9.0 to 9.5.

Do you think company name length is an issue here?

When I remove last world from the name, it is working.

This may be a bug in 9.5 or some how it's using company name to match the data.

Could be. Perhaps the next service release will take care of it.
