Hi,
I've been trying off and on over the years to sync Maximizer (v.9 now and non-Enterprise) with Outlook (v.20007 now). It's the full version of Outlook, not express.

I get the error "The MAPI Spooler could not be started. Close and then restart all mail-enabled applications. MAIP1.0".

That is followed by another error message: "Can not open message store. Outlook 2000 or above running "Corporate or Workgroup" mode is required for Syncing Calendar and Contacts with Maxmizer"

My setup is a stand alone personal laptop in a one-person consultancy. No company servers of any kind, no exchange servers.

I've followed the instructions: set up a favorites list in Maximizer for the contacts I want to sync with Outlook contacts. Over in Outlook I have my contacts categorized as "Maxmizer".

I tried adding the MAPI component from the Office CD and it looks like it was installed already though I can't find mapi32*.* anywhere on the C: drive.

This is driving me nuts and has consumed literally several days of time over the years. My ultimate goal is to sync Maximizer with my cell phone with Outlook as the intermediary step.

I see others have succeeded so it must be possible. But maybe those folks are in a corporate setting with much more support. Maybe Enterprise versions of Max? Can anyone tell me if I can sync Max-Outlook on a stand alone personal PC?

thanks,
-Tony
