I'm guessing that your probably clicking the "OK" button at the message window "Lift Receiver and press OK" too quickly or too late. Try this - when this message window appears pick-up your receiver like it tells you to but don't click the "OK" button until and immediately after the phone number is dialed. Clicking it too soon will cause the dialing to fail and too late (after the party answers) will disconnect the line.

The fact that it's dialing like you indicated tells you that you probably have the modem configured properly.

Hope this helps...

I was thinking about your post some more and really Maximizer allows for the configuration of your modem for dialing purposes only and now with v9 - call display. Your headset is connecting to your soundcard and that's where Maximizer hasn't provided the functionality.

As I mentioned previously the act of clicking "OK" effectively disconnects your modem after dialing but because in my case I've lifted the handset I'm able to proceed with the call as normal

I have heard of add-ons that allow one to record a telephone conversation and save the results to Maximizer but haven't explored them. Perhaps a search will yield what your after but I wouldn't hold out much hope that you'll be able to get Maximizer to do it ALL on its own.
