8020 error

I am running Win 2000 Pro. I installed Max 2000 but it installed Pervasive 2000 so I uninstalled Max 5.5 installed Max 5.0 to put it at Btrieve 6.15 then re-instaled Max 2000 now I get error code 8020. My PATh is set correctly and the direcotry c:\pvsw does exist. Help me!!!

Try installing Maximizer in the folder C:\Maximizer, rather than C:\Program Files\Maximizer.
