97is backup/restore

I am trying to backup / restore maximizer wont let me choose anything other than drive A: which I dont have! I never had this problem before; I have reinstalled to no avail, tried to use several drives etc, but no joy. must be something simple but I'm getting desperate!
Any help would be much appreciated.

I am not sure of the specific problem you are having which could have numerous causes. Maximizer 97is is a very old product and if you are trying to use it on Vista or Windows 7 its an unsupported configuration.

To work around this for now I suggest you close Maximizer and simply make a copy of the folder containing the Maximizer database. This will be larger than a Maximizer back-up but a perfectly acceptable recovery point.

We suggest that you consider updating to Maximizer CRM 12 to benefit from the 15 years of product development that has happened since 97is was released
