"Access violation" --Dr Watson

MaxEntSQL 5.0 on WinNT workstations.

I recently have got a new desktop box and since then have been unable to run Max. When ever I try to open Max I get a Dr Watson "Access Violation".

The error also occurs whenever I try to do anything in Outlook97's calendar. I tried Max on another machine using another person's network login with no problems but if I logged onto the network from that machine I experience the same Dr Watson problem.

Any ideas? TIA

Does Max 5 for SQL have Outlook Calendar integration? If so try turning that off in the Preferences>System Options.

Have you installed Maximizer under your own login?

Tried reintalling under my login but no deal. In the end, our IT guys blew way my NT profile which gave me back Max but meant I have spent some time restoring settings.

Such is life! :-)
