Do you free up a license by disabling a user's web access? Do you have to delete a user to free up a license? I have a license for 25. And 25 users are enabled. One staffer leaves. A new staffer arrives. What do I do to free up the license used by the departed staffer and provide it to the new user? I am running Maximizer 11 Enterprise. The Admin manual talks about installing a license but seems not to address disabling a user or the impact on a license. I know how to enable and disable a user's web access in the Admin module. I also know if I have more enable more users than I have a license for, Maximizer will announce I can't do that. Yet, I am told if I disable web access for a user, I am not freeing up a license. Can anyone clerify this for me?

Maximizer is licenced by named users so if you wish to completely free up a licence you need to disable both the web access and the windows access for that user name. You do not need to delete a user to free the licence.

Do not be tempted to try and obtain additional licencing by alteration of the MASTER, COMPANY, EMAILUSER, WEBUSER accounts. These are a built in part of Maximizer and do not affect the overall licence count. Changing these accounts may affect the operation of your system.
