Mike, are you running single or multi-user?

To be prompted for a password, at some point someone enabled security using Maximizer Administrator. If you can log into Max Admin you can look at the list of users and reset yours to whatever you want. There is a default password set up for the MASTER user name, which is the one you need to log in with to change security - check your documentation to see what it is.

Single User - I do have my Maximizer 7 loaded on both my Lap Top and PC at Home.

Someone at some point turned on security - it's off by defauly with Max 7. Given you have a single user version, either you did it unknowingly, or perhaps someone who may have installed it for you, done siome troubleshooting with Maxt, etc.

At any rate, it's on. So what you need to do is as I described - go into Maximizer Administrator (Start > Programs ? Maximizer > Administrator), log into the Adress Book in question as MASTER, go to File > Users, find your user name and click on Password to reset it to what you want.
