Any way to update a user-defined date field automatically?

I'm afraid that with the standard Maximizer functionality you can't do this. However there are two ways round it.

1. Do your reporting on the Last Modified Field, this is a system field that holds the date and time of the last time a record was modified.

2. Look into the Knowledge Sync Workflow product, this is a full featured workflow product that allows you to monitor the database and update it depending on specific conditions.

Is there also a system field to determine 'first contact' date, i.e. when a contact was added to the address book? I wish to generate a report that lists new contacts added in May 2008?
