It's generally good practice to do the server first, then the workstations.

If your data resides on the server, it doesn't make much sense in updating the database on the workstations and not the server.

The server is the key. If you're running the old version of the Pervasive engine on the server, then you'll probably experience the same problems related to that version until you update.

I've done the SR2 update on my server and workstations and I'm quite happy with the results so far.
If I were you, I would wait to install SR2, at least if you are working in a SQL environment. I just go confirmation that a defect has been identified in SR2 and the developers are currently trying to fix it. That to me means that they are going to have a new release out soon.

The bug is actually a memory leak that causes the virtual memory on systems to continue to increase without ever being released when you run searches. If you run into any virtual memory errors while running Maximizer, that is probably the problem.
