>What sort of SMTP server do I have to use?
>Is Outlook express works?

Outlook Express is a mail client, not an SMTP server. The SMTP server is the machine through which you send your outgoing Email. You told Maximizer the name of the server when you performed the install.

>Can I send mail when i logged as Master?

Yes, the MASTER user can set-up and initiate an Email campaign.

You should consider getting some real-time help, either from a Maximizer Business Partner or from Maximizer directly. Check the Maximizer website here for details.

Thank you but my question was bad. The smtp is the one my ISP gave me. But I tried to perform an email campaign, fix the hour and the day with the template but no email was sent.
I perform a test receiving a mail (with my own email) but it doesn't work.
My network configuration is based on workgroup pervasive. A single PC (and not a server) is assigned as the server; Do I have to use a win 2000 (or NT) server?

No, email campaigns can run on a Win9x-class machine as well.

Open up the Campaign Manager and check the status of the campaign. What does it say? Also, check the Notes for the campaign to see if it encountered any difficulties along the way.

On the menu bar, choose...

File > Preferences > Email Service

...and make sure that the "Activate automated email" box is checked. While you're there, verify that the address in the "SMTP server information" box is correct.
