I've created an email campaign and specified myself as the recipient of the email template. I'm not getting any emails sent out from the campaign manager and don't know why.
I'm using Maximizer Enterprise 7.5 Pervasive series 1310 and PostCast SMTP server. (I tried the one included with Microsoft IIS5 but that did not work either.)
I have verified that I can send emails using the PostCast SMTP server so I know that it works.
I have my SMTP server host name identified as 127.0.0.1 (i.e. localhost) and in Maximizer Administrator I've set the email service to the same IP address.
I have noticed that in the MxzDir.cfg file, the following parameter is not correct:
SMTP Server=mail.myserver.com
At the time of installation I was not sure what to specify for the SMTP server.
Can I just edit this file and change it to 127.0.0.1 and see if that works?
